PUBG online game to maintain banned in Pakistan
Pakistan
Telecommunications Authority (PTA) has decided to maintain the ban on
online game players in non-battleground PUBG.
According to a statement
issued by PTA on the social networking site Twitter, PTA asked the game management
for details of PUBG sessions, its users in Pakistan,
and the controls imposed by the company. However, no response was received
from PUBG.
Therefore, according to
the statement, PTA has decided that the ban on online game PUBG will
remain in place.
It was also informed that the
decision was taken by the authority after a detailed hearing on July 9 in the
light of the Lahore High Court's directive. Other interested parties also
participated in the hearing.

July 1, the PTA had banned the Pub G game after receiving
complaints from various sections of society.
A statement issued by the
PTA said that the PTA had received numerous complaints against the game,
saying that the game was addictive, a waste of time, and a
serious threat to the mental and physical health of children. Causes adverse
effects.
The PTA said that according
to recent reports, there have been suicides in connection with the Pub G game,
while the Lahore High Court also directed the PTA to look into the matter and
decide after talking to the complainants.
The PTA had also decided
to seek the views of the people regarding the online game and
said that "the public is encouraged to give their opinion in this
regard".
Besides, a petition was
filed in the Islamabad High Court against the ban, on which the decision was
reserved.
It should also be noted
here that during the last month, there were reports of suicides of 3 youths who
